Haunted

Amberlynn lavertu 1988 (New hampshire)

It's not your ghost that visits me
for you are still alive
So why am I still haunted
by the memories of my life
You can no longer touch me or
make me feel like dirt
So why am I still haunted
with these thoughts of you that hurt
There are so many miles between us
our paths they will not cross
So why am I still haunted
by the childhood that I lost
I'm haunted by the guilt
you left you should have let me be
You should never touch a child that way
you had no right you see
