Porgy

Getting my words back,
Like sucking on dry meat with toothless teeth
And biting on bone with arm clenched gums.

If I could just suck the taste of poetry back onto my lips,
Then let it honey drip the beauty of capturing a thousand sunsets in one word-
                                      
                                       i.would.bite.again
