The Book Of Life
What?
This book of life is a mystery
Each page marks an event,a mood
A chunk of moment elapsed, words
Define you in this book. Passions
Rule you in this book. From birth
To death, from start to end, the life
Continues, the book continues, to be read
And understood.
What?
The pages when you tasted true love
The times when your soul was high and above
All that was there, remained inferior to you
The youth was in full bloom, blood running fast
Nerves feeling hot, energies becoming powerful
Until you reached the maximum heights of Ecstasy
Romance and something not to utter.
What?
The bed of thorns, sickness prevailed, energies gone
Past lurks onto your present, times have changed
Scenes are altogether variant, weakness jumps in
Passions pass by, relations end in a speedy manner
In your loneliness , there are nothing but a bunch of
Memories, old memories of your good times. The journey
Is about to end, nothing you could do, nothing you could have done.
What?
What are these shadows hiding in the darkness of eternity?
What is this noise coming from the bells of old memories?
What is this book of pages, unread and read, yet blank?
Who awaits you, just like others, in the hunting ground?
Are you prepared to read the ultimate finish of the book?
What?
End to the end.
