I am the WAR machine

        I am the WAR machine

I am as old as humanity
My strength comes from
human depravity fed on vanity.
They call  me names to suit
Whatever the madmen
 want to pursuit.
Men are born and they die,
In honour and some times in disgrace,
For me death is a simple tool in reality.
The wise, the rich and strong,
They know me,
as reliable weapon to let them rule.
Throughout the ages,
I have kept an eye on those fools,
They never learn and too arrogant
To understand ,
that I am multidimensional ecosystem,
Beyond human control or rule.
I am the only truly universal power,
No system can outlast me,
and those in power who rule demand me.
You see me in every research lab,
And every institute and school.
On Earth , under the oceans,
and the seas, in space and
beyond the galaxies humans adore me.
My work causes a lasting outcry,
The power of my actions no one can dare deny
I maim the old and the young all the same.
My power challenge any fortifications!
No one can escape me,
whether in deepest bunkers,
Or refugees escaping with their children
on foot away from my hell.
Culture, monuments, churches,
mosques, hospitals and museums,
Crumble and bow before my majesty.
No life can ever escape me.
Hear me for now
I am the War Machine
In Command and in Control.
I know no nationality,
I do not discriminate,
I am always ready to do my services to humanity.

PS
Now at eighty and an old man with weeping eyes and unsteady hands.
I still do believe in the innermost of me that humanity must and will survive.
We have talk more to each other and to absolute strangers from anywhere and of any root or shape.

About this poem

The slaughter of children, women, men, the animals and Mother Earth is beyond my understanding. Where do we go from this hell. Are we to keep following the mad men and feed humans and their future to these War Machines!
