COPYCAT

Two into one doesn’t go.
But there is one thing I really know.
That in this case it isn’t so.
COPYCAT.

Look in the mirror and you will see
That it is I who is following me.
My movements and personality.
COPYCAT.

My twin.My duplicate and split identity.
We are one in humanity.
Draw me away from this insanity
And I’ll no longer be a COPYCAT.

About this poem

This poem reflects (no pun intended) on how a person sees themselves in a mirror & how their behaviour is affected.
