OPAL SKIES 1996 (US)

I AM an abortion of hope and goodwill
I would spend my life resentfully ill
Gods played, cowards prayed
I will loose, so I will choose
Forgive me father for what I did not know
Forgive me mother for how I decided to go
Let history bury the "blessed meek"
I seek change because "I am weak"
Life's meaningless breeding
Love's intimate grieving
Complexity simply is, in nature
And mislabeled by ignorant legislature
Magic fades from his eyes
Silent cries, opal skies
