Nightmare

Rhymed
Lost in the dark
falling from the sky
eating my words
failing to try
I can't find a heartbeat
and my skin is cold
here my story ends
much left untold
I slipped below the tide
after splashing through the waves
sinking to the bottom
I got pushed through the caves
my cold body settles
and my soul is released
I experience no more
for I am deceased

About this poem

I woke up around 4 in the morning and this just poured out of me.
