On The Road To Destiny

On the rough road north to Destiny
I saw Today
Holding scented roses for his love,
His Tomorrow,
He danced the tune of hope and desire
Wanting joy
Only she held in her fair bosom
But always
Tomorrow comes and she goes
Leaving him
Again in tears, his lonely soul solemn
She left him
With twin infants of fear and failure
That he sowed
My present friend, why your tears?
This woman
Called Tomorrow is like none to be tamed
Yet fair,
Did she not birth the seeds you sowed?
A woman
She is, her womb takes all and gives back
Why your tears?
Your lover will come again this night
Make love,
Give your best to her, each kiss and stroke
Come dawn.
You will meet her full smile and blessing
My final words,
Bidding farewell, northward to Destiny.
