Depression - Trigger Warning

Shivering, feeling the coldness of the air.
Mentally depressed as I watched the cars speed by.
Wondering if I should run across and die tonight.

But the rain couldn't match my tears
For my tears grew weak this time.
The wind got angry with me and scared me out of my wits.

Thoughts rushed through my mind that's never been there before.
Looking for the easy way out to run and hide from my pain.

I stopped feeling the rain on my skin, but I felt God's love,
even though I couldn't feel it from others.

I was alone and depressed,
thinking next time I may beat the raindrops
and crash helplessly to the ground and show no signs of life.
