Chorus

All fingers in the chorus point at me
I can't read a single note, you see
I love the music, and can kind of sing
A rich basso voice to chorus bring
Alto, not tenor voice or bass
The echo signifies, pitch in right place?
Brass vocal bark, no good, I fear
That I do or don't belong right here
Two thousand eyes now fixed on me
I feel a bit scared, must go and pee
Do love music, did nothing wrong
Dressed formal, now in the chorus, where I belong!
Could mute my words, mouth the whole project
Too devious, yet a challenge for my intellect
I also learned to keep a timely beat
Talents inspirational with hands and feet
Yet, if you can distinguish someone out of tune
It's not me; it's the clown on the other side of the room!
To be exposed
Is to be undressed
In front of an audience.
Like it or not,
Cover it up
Or ham it up
