The Realms of Nature

Sarbajit Roy 1956 (ASANSOL india)

The Realms of Nature

In a vision, I saw Nature's every glorious haunt,
When my mind traveled far  where others seldom daunt,
Traversing realms where deer roam with magical eyes,
Roses bloom with fragrant splendor, pervading the earth and the skies,
Birds of all hues and voices sing on the trees
garbed  in green ,
The peacock spreads its feathers in a dance seldom seen,
Gardens laid out in splendor where every flower smiles,
Shining with the  sun's rays , which every bee beguiles,
Where streams of pure water gurgle and murmur with mirth,
Waterfalls cascade with harmonious music, rivers and seas flow with all their worth,
Where clouds sail with freedom in the clear blue sky,
Birds in splendid array sail far as merry they fly,
Meadows roll below wondrous hills which  early Dawn and twilight grace,
Where woods with foliage and trees in graceful attire amaze,
My mind travels  to these domains where Nature is marvelous and wild,
In those kingdoms where every mother smiles as does every child.
