Pseudo attention

Sara Cafferty 1988 (Rhode Island)

You see, I like my time here-
just me and my thoughts.
 there's a world outside.
full of robots.
everyones head down
seeking pseudo attention.
Just over here thinking-
"where's the connection?"
And I don't mean the Wi-Fi.
Monetary gain is the game, got everyone stuck out here chasing.
So answer me this…
Why aren’t we satisfied?
Wasted life on so called " life"
Not my mission.
I'd rather be alone.
or go missing.
