Societies broken throne

Jz 2007 (Roxbury)

They say everybody’s beautiful then why I don’t feel it
Why do I still think my reflection needs fixing
Why don’t  I feel perfect when I stare in the mirror
and why do I still think my skin should be clearer
They say you could be a model only if you don’t eat as much
yeah he might’ve liked you only if you had a bigger butt
Put your make up on then he might think you’re enough and never let him see you questioning if you’re beautiful because once he sees your flaws that’s your first Step to you loosing him
now smile take a picture for the gram
make sure you put a filter on so
so you’re pretty for your fans
Hide your  imperfections and make sure your skin is tan now you looking the comments on your phone
they saying you’re a queen and you make them feel at home
if I’m such a queen then why I feel so alone
Cause they got me sitting in societies broken throne
