Emotional Strings

Emotions are like strings. Every day these strings are plucked, sometimes individually, sometimes in tandem, to form an intricate melody of emotions.

There are two sets of strings, one positive, one negative. Both equally important. Both needing to be acknowledged, for if one is not,   it will start to tighten and grow taut. It will twist and tangle into a nasty knot.

As time passed, it will get tighter and tighter, larger and larger, until it snaps. Until it violently explodes, being expressed in the most intense way. It hasn't happened yet, but it will.
