BITTER SWEET

Debbie Middaugh AKA TURBO1904 1963 (San Diego, CA.)

Surely time
 will ease the pain.
   This is the shit
 that can drive you insane.

   Shot in the heart;
Remove the arrow.
   What you hold today,
Could be gone tomorrow.

   In these four walls;
I sit and stare.
   I can feel betrayal,
Crackling in the air.

   You are with someone;
You are never alone;
   You come off,
 as if you belong on a throne.

   How does a person,
Get to the point of no return?
   If you make it thru;
A life lesson learned.

   You only care about yourself;
It's all about you.
   Maybe you have Bitten,
 more than you can chew.

   All you have to offer;
A sexual power.
   Human souls, sins of the flesh,
You devour.

   When you become full;
You discard the treat.
The taste of Revenge,
 is Bitter Sweet.
