COVID

The Dark skys came in when you arrived
You shut us all down like you were the only thing in town
You thought you were special and you took a lot of us down
Took away our families we only had you to blame they call you a pandemic
We call you a disease that can be cured you may branch off and have other
Variants but we will be smarter you may have locked us all down for awhile
But we are not down and out you forgot you still have some of the oldies here
We remember how to fight and the young ones got smarter so you got the best
Of both fighting against you and then you didn’t just attack just one area you
tried to attack the whole world dumb move cause you caused us to join forces
To fight you the one time to come together to put our difference aside and find
a common ground to fight you to save our families and our friends
we came out of the Darkness to the Light but you attacked again with Delta
guess what we are not scared we are not running away we put our pants on
and faced the day you don’t have us beat
It’s not your Day!!
