You were born with Down Syndrome.
You were a couple days old when
you were diagnosed with a bad heart.
The doctors decided to operate to make
it better.
You got older and your pain of having few
friends grew.
When you were five years old you met a
friend just like you.
You got along so well until one day you
had a dream that your dear friend was
going to be gone.
You were upset with her and you fought.
Then one Sunday afternoon, she collapsed.
She died of a bad heart.
You are lonely again because of what people
think.
You understand much more than others, even
more than they know.
