Song of Equality

A gale wind seen brushing under the wing of freedom
Pushing the dove and pigeon to coalesce.
The pigeon, always striving to fly straighter, to be seen like a dove.
So similar yet it goes unnoticed.
Seeping into - almost being the shadows;
Waiting for someone to see it not only as a bird, but a dove too.
Always seeking to be free,
Only to be shackled by the dove's incompetence.
Shackled to the past.
Searching every sky aimlessly for autarky,
Where it can soar through the sky
Wings skimming the clouds,
Look down to see a world of peace.
