Liven

Richard B Ennis 1954 (illinois)

Pack of cigarettes lying on the floor
disappointment, boredom, not much more
without my glasses
I can't see
angry, tired, hungry
and me

About this poem

This poem was written during a dark period and as such reflects my feelings at the moment. Very much influenced by Dorothy Parker.
