LOST

I am lost.
lost in my own soul.
forever grieving of my true self.
hiding behind this image you want me to be.
never free to express.
always worried about the rest.
the pain is deep it hurts my heart.
I feel lost, so miles apart.
I chose this.
I feel to blame.
This is not me, its what you want me to be.
I am lost.

About this poem

About the feeling of not being you, unable to tell the one you love how you feel and what you feel, for the fear of not being loved. wanting to be who you were but stuck in the world of who people see you as.
