The mind

Time 1983 (nc)

Time. Just so much time lost in the prison without Bars. The mind
Wondering if anyone can hear me ,have I been left behind
I reach out for an ear to listen , a heart that can still feel ,
Feel like I will never heal sometimes I'm alone. Like I'm in outer space
looking down on an earth I  just can't face
So much hate and distrust running wild. Does anyone care any more
Has everyone closed and locked that door
Does any one else feel the empty of what life has shown
Am I alone? looking out the window at the moon so bright
Looks as lonely as I feel tonight
Life passes. Then your alone and old.
Nothing but the memories  your lives story being told
They make for a bad show.
Watching the sadness grow
Life stories. Replayed in the mind
The hero doesn't win the love and leave the pain behind
and ride off into the sunset
That is a chance he won't get
Cause He is too broken to get back on the horse to ride .
From life he starts to hide
No hero. No life. Nobody around
The heart breaks, without a sound
All the love one can feel
A heart wishes to heal
No one to share that with. The passion never dies.
As time flies
Just stays locked inside
No ear to confide
Cause of being denied.
Words are empty when there is no one there to care, no one in which to share
Life passes by
How time seems to fly
Looking back there was words left unsaid
The love was not fed
Time passes leaving me behind
Lost in the prison of my mind
