Contradict Dictions

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Contradict dictions,
To choose them and mention.
May be one's purpose to fiction,
For attention.

Yet those who use minds,
To think and define...
Words meant to twist.
Know them to contradict,
To undo a truth to confuse those to trick!

I am not stupid.
Or one fooled.
Nor am I a dunce.
I'm simply someone who sometimes,
Is naive.
And I could care less,
Who believes me deceived.

When my dog bites.
As I sleep nights.
I know she wants to pee.
So I simply get out of bed,
Then go to the door.
And this is her favorite thing!

'Have a merry piss, Miss!'
