*OUT OF MY SYSTEM*
Getting you out of my system will be the hardest part,
Especially when you were there from the start.
You were my first "Love at First Sight"
Every time I was near you, my heart took flight.
As I pick up the pieces and move on,
I have to learn again how to be strong.
As long as you're happy, that's all that matters to me,
My heart must let you go and let you be free...
About this poem
It's about a guy that I have loved since middle school and he's about to get married. We have always been friends. Regardless of what happened in our lives, we always found our way back to each other.
