Trespass

Unknowingly
and secretly,
you slip into my heart.
I know
I shouldn’t let you
but without notice,
you trespass.

I know
that you are not
the one that I love
but why
does my heart beat
for you?

Even though I know
you mean something
to me.
I avoid you
and I hope
as time goes on,
I will
erase you from my memories
and forget about you.

I push you away
with all of my strength
and pretend to hate you
but it becomes useless.
What I say is not true
about how I feel about you.

My heart
can only keep one to love
but you
keep coming back to me.
Confusing me and making me weak.
Like a sly fox,
you trespass.
