Crack of Dawn
He can't remember when it was
when he noticed she was gone
It is as if she suddenly disappeared
one morning at the crack of dawn
He blinked to focus his eyes
on the scene that was a little off
It was as if it all changed in an instant
and the air itself was now soft
She could not be found in his sight
as she was pulled from this existence
The aftereffects of all this was to be
separated by some illogical distance
About this poem
it packs a punch
