Refugee

Steven tant 1983 (Raleigh)

The day u left is a day I’ll never forget u were persecuted beyond your worst regret the country wanted u out and I started to pout but my family had no doubts I was forced to leave and flee and go away it’s a day that I can’t let go astray from the wind to the rain I felt the pain of being a refugee forced to leave my country for the war boy was I sore and my heart was tore up so bad it made me sad god why did I have to be a refugee it’s a day I wish I never had I had to leave ones I loved and best friends only to feel like I died again the war wasn’t soft it was hard but it kept me abroad
