What You Willing To Do?
I'm what you'd call 'an uncommon occurrence',
You don't meet people like me all the time,
I'm the kind that will 'show' be no doubts cause you'd know,
That with me you'd be happy, heart and mind.
Also the kind that has fallen so easily,
Yeah, got my 'battle scars', but they don't show,
Sit and talk for a while, pretty soon you're gonna smile,
Thinking, more about me you'd like to know.
Cause I want the same things that you want,
Take a look, just one look and you'll see,
Most of what you wish for, is inside my locked door,
There it is, yeah that's it ~ basically.
Just like you, I get cut, well I bleed,
Just like you, my hearts beats, rat, tat, tat,
I give love I get pain, sometimes one in the same,
But you see, I'm not asking for that.
Can you give this man well... 'all' of you?
Can you do this to get what you give?
People say every day, yes that's me, that's my way,
Tell the truth though ~ are you positive?
That's what it about, years on years going strong,
Tried and true, we'll be all of those years,
You and I, tell no lie, be soo happy you'd cry,
Yes my love, you'd cry warm happy tears.
There it is ~ and that's what I'm about,
I'm "all that" darlin, yes, just like you,
Do it right from the start, there'll be no broken hearts,
Tell me love ~ what you willing to do?
About this poem
After 'being there', time after time, it's no wonder that some people doubt. Just as some sand-paperly feel, 'look, this is what I'm about, either you're with it, or you're not, you believe me, or you don't'.
