HOW DO I SAY I LOVE YOU

How DO I SAY I LOVE YOU.

How do I say I love you?
How do I let you know?
How do I describe this,
Which is so indescribable

It's like trying to catch the air
With bare hands
Trying to paint the world
In a tiny paper

I love you;
Words can only attempt
To say the extent
Actions can endeavour
To show the depth
But in all, they all fail
To crest a perfect picture
Of all the content of this heart.

It's now too old
To say it the usual way
You won't believe, when all men have lied
Looking at you in the eyes

Your past is poised to murder your future:
The scars in your heart
You still can clearly see
As bright as neon lights
Which shines at dark night.

You are now too scared
Even for the right one
With the very crystal demeanour
You daily seek.
Growing up, you thought they were all perfect
Fast they turned into devouring lions.

I'm confused, but I artlessly love
Won't stride backwards
And fade into the thin air,
Lest you label
I a camouflaged member of the pride.

How do I say I love you?
How do I let you know?
If spending Shekels is a players' act,
The use of words, the gigolos' blot,
Getting flowers, too fake to get your heart;
How do I say I love you
If every act of mine, points
To the road you have travelled with men
Who lied that they cared,
But never did.
