This is a Story

This is a story,
About a girl,
Who lived in an,
Enchanted world.

With trolls and elves,
And pegasi,
With purple grass,
And yellow skies.

She lived in a cottage,
Deep in the wood,
And played with the fairies
Of Childhood.

They laughed and danced,
From dusk til dawn,
But in a flash,
Those times were gone.

This is a story,
About a girl,
She lived in a,
Haunted world.

With ghosts and ghouls,
Witches with brooms.
Creaky floors and
Empty rooms.

She kept to herself,
She hid all her tears,
Made potions with witches
Of Teenage years.

They mixed up brews,
And dressed in black,
And now she wishes,
She could go back.

This is a story,
About a girl,
She lived in the,
Real world.

No magic or spells,
No elves or trolls,
No lucky wells,
Just wasted souls.

She lived in the past,
She lost her smile,
She missed the magic,
Missed the while.

And all she wants,
Is to rewind,
Back to the days
When she was blind.

This is a story,
From start to finish,
That tells of how life,
Can slowly diminish.

And all that is left,
Is an empty shell,
Of a person slowly,
Descending to hell.
