Moonlight House in Rockway Beach
Sajol Ashfaq 1964 (Barisal)
I went out to purchase the full moon,
Because I am in so much of intoxication to get the pure moonlight
Who knows why the moonlight is in need on Manhattan Times Squares!
Maybe it is just an addiction!
Quickly down the stairs to the subway,
I caught the tireless E train at night.
Meanwhile, all the caterpillar's passengers are in their position
They are in a bit of movement, eats, and chews,
Again relaxed with exhaustion!
In my thought was getting the Moonlight;
Where can I get St. Martin's Moonlight mart?
I left the subway and came out on the avenue like a rat at night.
My cellphone charges are getting switch off,
Anyway, I will call Lyft or Uber for a ride;
Before it turned off!
Right now, my destination is to be in
Rockway Beach to view the moonlight!
The light of civilization has drowned the poor moonlight long ago;
In Times Square
Looking at the house of the moon in the sky of New York,
I come to know the age of the moon
It seems faded from its realistic color!
And then the voices of the woman in the Waze app recites my thought-
Your destination is on the right.

About this poem
The moon is disappearing from our lives. The moonlight is being faded in the civic light. Nature lovers therefore want to run to the beach to find the moonlight, on a secluded island
