Gates
Daryll Phillips 1972 (Scranton PA)
My eye gate
Sees thru it all
My mind gate
Thinks thru it all
My ear gate
Hears thru it all
Then the tree is planted
In the garden
East of Eden
The orb in my eye
The spectre in my mind
The cherubim in my ear
Christian hedonistic love
I will persevere
