Criminalizing Factors

Finally!
After a long and draining legal process,
There is one closing statement to make...
By the lawyer representing his client.
And,
His client...
For whatever may be the reason,
Has chosen to appear with mouth taped.
And also requested,
To be handcuffed.
And tied down to a chair,
Bolted to the floor.

And...
Before this procedure begins,
Let me remind everyone...
No one is guilty until that guilt,
Has been proven without a doubt.
Lock, stock and barrel.
You may proceed.

'Yes, Your Honor.
It comes to no one on this team,
Representing our client...
To present such criminalizing factors,
That would make a starving crocodile...
Throw up out of its guts,
The fattest pig found to eat...
Roaming the Everglades.'

Oh my.
What a depiction.
I immediately envisioned,
My mother-in-law.
Walking the beach in a string bikini.
Mistaken by whale hunters,
Searching for them...
Off the coast of Cape Cod.
Let's hear this lip licking stuff.
And remember,
These 'criminalizing factors'...
Are presented to hear them,
Without anyone's incriminating bias.
You got that?

'Exactly.'

You may continue.
The things poor unassuming pigs endure!

'Yes.
Your Honor.
I can not imagine,
My own 'oinks' to go unheard.
If...
Thirsting razor sharp teeth,
Clutched unto my ham hocks.
Well...
The evidence we have collected,
Not meant to further torment...
The minds of those exposed to liars.
Crooks, frauding dupers.
And gutter slurping lowdown dirty filthy,
Slimy scum nasty thieves.
We...
The lawyers hired to represent our client,
Thought it best...
If our client allowed us,
To present this case as best as we can.
With a promise from our client...
No outbursts will prejudice or prejudge,
His character.'

And...
Anyone can clearly see,
The patience and tolerance...
Your client has obviously achieved,
Through obtaining...
A pride so proud that identifies,
Such a wholesome and warranted dignity.

'Yes.
It is almost as if he has been,
Restricted and forbidden...
From displaying more,
Of his God given attributes.
Although...
Deep rooted in his soul,
Could be this...
Vindictive vicious maliciousness,
Restrained and subdued.
Who knows?'

Such a unique approach,
To defend your client's innocence.

'Your Honor?
With only a wish,
My client had...
To be of service to those people.
You know...
The ones ignored and voiceless.'

Uh...
Your closing argument?
Dramatic.
And tissue grabbing to dab tears,
From the corners of eyes.
However...
In your client's previous testimony,
And I quote:
'So what the f**kng what b**ch!
You caught me at the scene.
And in my hands was an ice pick,
A homemade dagger and a switch blade.
I was there to represent the people.
People like you.
Those living in wealthy neighborhoods.
And feeling their way of life threatened,
By the ones profiled and arrested...
When the police are called.'
And...
These comments were said to me,
To know by your client...
Who he stalked to follow,
Into our own neighborhood.

'What are you saying, Your Honor?
Explain!'

Your 'client' is nothing more,
Than a scene stealing drama queen. Seeking attention.
And if you haven't yet to notice,
That down-home and practiced...
Slow Southern accent,
Is as authentic as that dred wearing wig...
He has been wearing to claim,
African ancestry.
Who do you think,
You're in my court to dupe and trick?

'So...
What are you saying, Your Honor?'

When are you people going to stop,
Claiming your envy and jealousies...
On others to blame.
With attempts to include them,
In your own inability to accept...
The people you are!
And then you want it to be believed,
They are the ones...
Destroying the quality,
Of 'your' way of life??
Give me a break.
You know how old this schtick is?
It smells of schmuck.
You are no different than that pig.
Snooping around looking for danger.
Then to complain,
After finding it easy to create havoc!
Bringing it to visit,
One too many times.

'Your Honor?
Don't you think you are taking this case...
Too personal?
And...
Being prejudice, bias and judgemental?'

Yes!
Are you done,
Proving your client's guilt!
