Staying Here

Death flows every day,
whether we want it to or
not,  Lord,
Yet, focusing on life is
a much healthier thing,
although it seems we
gravitate more towards
the darkness,
carrying our problems
around until our arms
want to break,
Then screaming for the
Lord up above to help
us carry this load,
Life comes in many shades,
So does death that wants its
right to our flesh,
I pray to the Lord up above,
He helps me through these fragile
times.
