Flowers

Sweet and elegant
The beautiful sent
The colors of spring
The bees buzz and birds sing
They grow
And show
That time does move
They grow in every grove and groove
They are strong and weak
Tall and meak
They are lovely and nice
Some can survive the ice
Of winter
They can grow from the splinter
Of death
They grow from the breath
Of the new sun
Sway as the kids run
By
And let the seeds of the next fly
The flowers of wonder.
