Reminisce of the past

Time to wake up it's time to move on and start a new chapter
One where I end up with someone that actually wants an ever after
Its time to let go and turn away before you can see my face
To hide these tears I hope you ll never see and to leave without a trace

Although this might signal the end of our time together and my new reality
Perhaps someday I can look back and realise that us was never meant to be
To smile again at another face to feel their presence that isn't yours
Giving my all to someone new and let them step in while we close off our doors

Putting the pieces and parts back to assemble myself back into the game
To one day not be bothered upon hearing someone call out your name
Ill cherish the moments for ill be forever stored in my memory
But for now its the end of our chapter of the story about the you & me.

Counting on a new beginning to unravel and to take place
Starting point respawned... lock & loaded ready at my base
Ready to be deployed unto the battlefield once more
For I am finally at peace with myself and my mind restored.
