The Beautiful Garden of Eve

Sky starts turning nude
Sky starts turning blue
Adam’s laid to rest
I turn to forbidden fruits

Slave to temptation
Slave to my love
Guide me O serpent
To the tree of knowledge

Weakened, my conscience
I found comfort in serpent’s words
He slithered what I thought was right
Though I knew he fed me lies

I was a part of Adam
But Adam wasn’t a part of me
I may be Adam’s woman
But Adam wasn’t a part of me

Sky starts turning blue
Sky starts turning nude
Adam was woken
Forgive me

God comes down in haste
With him he brings the sun
Punished by beloved father
Father lost his son

Though with his broken heart
Adam stayed with me
You gave up paradise
Your love for me is eternal

Shoulder my guilt Adam
For I feel no shame
I’m not a part of Adam
We are one and the same
