Wise man

Andrii Seleznov 1985 (Obukhiv)

“If you need her just go for her!” –
Once a wise man said
“Through the barriers of sorrow
Pity and regret

You might get extremely tired
Battered, scarred and bruised
But you’ll find instead desired
Happiness and truth

Let your legendary journey
Surely be in vain
Let you get another portion
Of exhausting pain

But at least you’ll be contented
Pleased and satisfied
With the work precise and tender
Work within your heart!”
