My child you run like a herd in spring
Your legs spinning; your trainers bling
You last as long as a marathon runner
Or slow, taking time in case you blunder
Coins toss up as to who mans the bars
Outside cigarettes adorn the jars
Your bodies young; strong like stars
They climb and pull, manning the ropes
Your muscles row, as your legs grow.
