WORDS OF WISDOM

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

I have words of wisdom in my head I come to you from the past in the dreams from the dead they come to me in my bed

The twin towers where so many died and the pain the families felt inside why did so many have to die of young and old

All that’s left is heart break and death as they morn the lost and have to live wondering why God didn’t just take them instead

Their lives where sacrificed to make us relies to love one another and to come together to stand strong and to fight the weather of right and wrong

The ones that died would want you to live on and remember the good times as you move along in life

They want you to free your soul and live again through their memories that you all shared

I write this now in hopes to all that hurt still to this day that you move on with your heart and stay strong

Words of wisdom from the dead can speak it’s not just in your head the whispers you may hear is the dead talking in your head

So listen closely to what they say to live, to love, and to find your way
