Mystery

A mystery the life has become
(I’m) not sure anymore
What I am going through
One moment its all bright
Another moment its dark as hell
Sound of music flows in the air
Another time I hear only the thunder
Come rain I see the rainbow in the sky
Another place, its all naked and dry
Longing for moon childhood was
Believing in fairy tales, we grew up
Rushing are all we madly now
Don’t know where love has gone

Though the sun shines everyday
People return home after a long day
Finding refuge in the wrinkled arms of night
Something still is missing anyway
The joy, the laughter,
the feeling of being together
The sharing, the care, the passion
The commitment to each other’s forever
Don’t know where the heartbeats are gone

Gone are the days lovers wrote
Showered their beloved with joy songs
Lit the bonfire by the sea
Made love to each other passionately
On a full moon night
Dreamed of heaven on the earth
walking moist dawn, holding hands
looking in each other’s eyes
they dreamed of heaven on earth
and called each other’s name across the sky
from a poisoned heard only
now flows the poetry
wonder where the words have gone.
