Forgetful Words

I rise forgetful of my sleep, and my hands I gently weep. My memories of you I shall keep, they're hidden deep down inside, where no one knows how to find them.
You've played a trick, now my heart is in distress. I lost a part of my world, and now my life is spinning out of control. Grasping for something to hold, just a little bit to slow me down.
I still hear the harshness of your words, tearing into my heart, will you read this loudly, or will this do more harm than good.
