The Gift

Entangled in this quantum shell
A mind with a story to tell

It all began with a carefree me
Adolescence rowing in serenity
A developing mind as it churned
Always altering for what it yearned
All the while dismissing the signs
Of cells in symbiotic declines

We watch this movie we call life
Balanced between harmony and strife
From dust into mind we spend
Then from mind to dust we end
We spend to end in this shell
And for what, who is assumed to tell?

What’s the purpose for this grift,
This ethereal journey we call a gift.

About this poem

Recognize that life is a gift for us to enjoy…. Lose the stress and realize we are all on a similar journey. The journey of the fleeting mind
