OUR SPICE

Our Spice

Cast into the winds our
grains of spice-perfect seven.
Our number in secret form,
into us 7 loves are born.
Each grain adrift as time flows on
inside our life's hour glass.
The riddle of our life falls grain by grain, filling our hearts.
We run and play in its rain......
feeling each spore thicken our souls.
We touch-our spirits, afraid yet bold,
Mixing, mingling, spices together,
wings of heaven now unfold.
Together as one-yet still free,
flowing floating in times' twilight
as the sands of spice shores our sea.
Now filled, sounds of cracking glass
seven grains of spice-two lives now freed from storms of loneliness
two destinies combined-a lifetime yield.
Our time has mixed our heart’s crimson seas.
Two lives suspended in the spices of heaven, Swirling, melting Sea Majesty
Our own melody, our gift from heaven’s benevolent hand.
Who can count the moments,
Only God can understand...
the distant echo of the number 7
