Fruits of the Spirit
When devotion to Christ’s light we know,
Like yellow crocus under snow,
Surfacing silently, sure and slow,
We sparkle aglow here below.
One’s heart Christ knows. Spirit like wind blows.
A celestial garden blooms during worst snows.
Christ leads one through each painful throe,
Comfort during desolate night to bestow.
Christ instills more blessings than dark woe,
If good intentions flow to friend or foe.
Christ Jesus overthrows the status quo,
His pivotal position, no mere cameo.
In due time hope takes root, an embryo,
Bearing oranges, lime, grapes of indigo.
When Christ returns his voice we will know,
His holy commands perpetually glow.
Silent and slow below December snow,
Aglow like yellow crocus love can grow.
