Echo

So lost,
Trying to find my way,
But I don't know where to go.
I'm so afraid,
I can't go back home,
Cause that's where the demons stay.
No one knows I am gone
And it's better that way!

But now what do I do,
Where am I running to?
Debating whether I should go back
And live the life I had.
Tears streaming down my face,
Trying to think of a place,
Where I can restart,
Because right now there's too much pain in my heart!

With all the voices in my head,
I can't rest!
I did try my best!
I took the advice and put it to the test!
But I thought of myself less,
Due to living to others expectations which didn't make sense,
Brought me nothing, but emptiness
And feeling worthless.

All I can bring myself to, is cry,
But I got up,
Cause I have to try,
Even though my sadness is building up,
In this dark time,
I shouted, "I believe in myself!"
I'm in control of my life,
Even though I feel like I'm living in Hell!

I am not going to give up now!
I may have no one around,
But I'm not going to let that get me down,
Because I'm in control now!
This journey may start off slow,
But in the process, I will grow
And where ever I go,
Positivity will echo!
