Fool

Joyce McCowen 1971 (Baltimore)

I might be a fool that's in love. But I'm not a dumb fool. I'm not a fool to not know that things aren't right. I'm not a fool that don't know when a person just wants something from you. I might be a fool in love but I'm not a fool that I can't see or feel that something not right. I might be a fool in love but I can feel the pain just like any fool in love. There might not be many bright days with being a fool in love. Then the love from being a fool in love fades away with nothing to hold on to from being a fool in love.
