ODDS OF LIFE

ODDS OF LIFE

Odds are not wrong or right
They are not mistakes or misplace
They are odds
It is why some are taller and some shorter
It is why some are darker and some are lighter
Odds are what differentiates us
It is why we smile differently
It is why we don’t speak the same
It is differentiates our voices
It is why we don’t reason the same
It is why your nose is shaped like that
It is why our shape and size are not the same

Odds are never good or bad
They are what makes us different
Society may refer to it as abnormal
Sometimes families call it strange
What makes a twin, one black and the other white
All are odds
What makes one with down syndrome
Makes another born without brain
Some people don’t just have complete toes
Look that person you stare at
Because of their obvious birthmark
All are odds of life
We didn’t choose it, but it is how we are
One is glamorous and the other solemn
One is sanguine and the other phlegmatic
One is quick and the other calculated
The odds are responsible for your specialty.
