Morning, Glorious

Sublime feature with eye lightly closed
As you lie in your gentle repose.
Your silken hair is somewhat splayed
From the fitful movements you've made.
Dare I caress your supple cheek?
Or instead let you continue to sleep?
I think I shall continue to gaze
Upon the beauty who beside me lays.

About this poem

In the title, glorious refers to the person rather than the morning.
