ts a Mother's wish.
If my luv I'd have a magic wand,
I'd give you all I could with the blink of your eye...
The things you crave and want
I'd lay out for you with just my magic wand.
I'd leave no room for want any longer,
No room for empty thoughts and pinning,
Of what had been !and could have been!
The beautiful dress hanging in the shop....
The tallest cake with all the glitters
The silver shoes with hues of the stars,
And necklace and bracelets too!
Earrings that glittered to match the twinkle in your eye.
And if the day had not yet wanned enough,
I'd take you across the world on the magic carpet...
To play with Mickey mouse at Disneyland!
'twas my heart's utmost desire!
And by evening I'd light up the world with tiny stars,
And moon to guard you through....
O little one how do I express my heart's desire...
As I lay silent with tears of agony with only 'If'.....
I'd take you over fields of roses and lilies and daffodils.
And at night we'd cascade over the starry sky reaching the moon
To gaze down upon the thousands of fireflies lighting up the world.
Yes, it is but only a wish ,a wish
unfulfilled in a mother's heart!
But only thoughts remained of all the'Ifs and 'Whys.....
As I turned away your starry gaze to hide the tears that fell like the summer tempest!
My child this I long for you........
N the wish remained as reality struck
My heart in pain o little one '
If only I had the magic wand!!
