Ode To My Teeth

To my short of tooth comrades, I bequeath
The sad story of my missing teeth
I woke in the morning not feeling good
Ran to the bathroom as fast as I could
At that porcelain bowl, I did humble
Only to see my former teeth tumble
It was in horror that I let out a gasp
Just as I felt them slip through my grasp
In the mirror, I saw a face filled with pain
It just saw its ivories go right down the drain
Will it get worse? Is this just a lark?
I feel like a dog with no bite just bark
I can't work like this, and on that I'm fervent
I refuse to be a undentured servant
Fate it seems can be quite vicious
Now my uppers sleep with the fishes
